Speaking at Google DevFest: Overcoming Nerves and Finding My Voice

This weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to speak at Google DevFest! 🎤🌐 While it was an amazing experience, I have to admit—I was really nervous. Speaking at a Google event felt like a big deal, and I wondered if I needed to tailor my talk more towards Google Cloud.

However, my expertise is in AWS, and I felt the most value came when I shared my knowledge about building serverless applications using Lambda functions. Once I hit my stride, especially when discussing Generative AI and how AWS services can streamline those workflows, the nerves faded away. The crowd's engagement during those moments confirmed that sticking to what I know best was the right choice.
